ARCH 562 Proposition studio, University of Michigan, 2018

Individual work

Project Location: Bedford Concourse, Bronx, New York

The project site is in Bedford Concourse, a discarded train station area. For the surround, there is a clear segregation of Lehman Collage at North and massive residential neighbor at the south side. The aim of this urban design project is to intervein Institutional and Residential building to decrease the dead zone along the edge of the block. Center pedestrian road create links between public space and major entrances of the buildings in the site. Folding landscape as an extension of the parks functions as mitigating the noise from the railway.
